Taubman College faculty and PhD students, ten in total, are presenting and receiving honors at the Association of College Schools of Architecture (ACSA) Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, March 26

The Architectural History + Theory area of the Architecture Doctoral Program will be well-represented by faculty and alumni at the next meeting of the Society of Architectural Historians in Pasadena (1-5 April, 2009). The following faculty will be presenting papers:

Claire Zimmerman, "Photographic Architecture, Cold War Export"
Will Glover, "Mid-20th-century New Towns in India and Changing Conceptions of the Social"

The Detroit Unreal Estate Agency, a project on alternative urbanisms in Detroit co-directed by Assistant Professor of Architecture Andrew Herscher and Assistant Professor of Architecture Mireille Roddier, is discussed in The New York Times in an essay on Detroit and "the strange, new American dream."
